When I first stepped into my recruiter role, I was excited. But that excitement hit a wall fast — intro calls.
Each one was about 20 minutes. Now imagine doing that over 100 times in a hiring cycle. That’s days of asking the same questions, collecting the same info, and trying to coordinate follow-ups. It wasn’t recruiting — it was just survival mode.
The top of the funnel (TOFU) was healthy — leads were coming in. But nothing was moving efficiently down the pipeline. There was too much manual work between sourcing and scheduling.
So, we changed things up.
First, we brought in AI-based CV shortlisting on our ATS. That filtered out noise early and gave us a cleaner starting point.
Then came the real shift: an AI interview agent. (ribbon.ai) This wasn’t just a bot sending questions — it actually has a conversation with candidates. It asks Salesforce-specific, pre-defined questions, listens actively, follows up naturally, and collects availability for the next round. While I focus on more strategic parts of hiring, it quietly runs the process in the background.
It’s like having a recruiter twin who never tires, never misses a detail, and doesn’t need to schedule a thing.
Here’s a short clip of the agent actually talking to a candidate. No scheduling hassles. No burnout. Just clean, scalable recruiting.
Here’s one such instance:
The candidate talked about working with complex integrations and migrating from Aura to LWC — and the AI Interviewer responded with a relevant, thoughtful follow-up. That’s not just automation — that’s real interviewing.

Yes, that’s AI… interviewing a real candidate. Thoughtfully.
This is what the future of recruiting looks like.
